Letter to the American Church Screening, Sunday, 4/21/24

Is the American Church too quiet?

This riveting film, based on Metaxas’ thought-provoking book “Letter to the American Church”, draws striking parallels between the failure of the German Church in the 1930s to oppose tyranny and injustice, urging the American Church to take action.  The film lays out the parallels between early 1930’s Nazi Germany and other totalitarian regimes with what is happening in America today and how the church has been mostly silent in facing this evil.

Eric and several leading conservative voices of today explain how cultural Marxism has taken over America, including the church. It’s a wake-up call for churches to stand-up, and to speak-out against the evil manifesting in our country.

The film will inspire us to think about important questions such as:

  • What are some tangible ways that we as a church can get involved?
  • How can we, as a church, come together and create change, especially in this election year?
  • What is God’s calling for the Church and the United States?
  • What is the influence of Marxism, globalism, and communist ideologies in today’s culture?
  • What is the true meaning of religious liberty and the anti-religious misinterpretation?
  • What is the danger of religious leaders’ silence on political issues?

We’ll hear from church leaders and thinkers Eric Metaxas, Charlie Kirk, Dr. James Lindsay, Pastor Rob McCoy, Seth Gruber, Pastor David Engelhardt, Victor & Eileen Marx, and Pastor John Amanchukwu, and hear about examples of how to take action and turn our country back to freedom, liberty, and ultimately, God Himself.

We hope you’ll join us and invite interested family and friends to come along as well. Please RSVP below so we’ll know to expect you:

And if you’d like to encourage more work like this by Eric Metaxes, donations are welcome during the screening or individually at https://www.givesendgo.com/Lettertotheamericanchurch.
